The STATSGO Data Analyst allows users to more easily use the United States Department of Agriculture's STATSGO 1:250,000 soil Data. Created as an ArcView Extension it allows the user to create useable data, which can be attached directly to the shapefile.
- -Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
- -ArcView 3.0a
- -USDA STATSGO Data CDROM in Arc/Info Format or individual files located on users hard drive consisting of the coverage (or shapefile) the comp table and the layer table.
- ~3.5mb free hard drive space for installation
- -Free Hard drive space for state coverages and saved files. Amount varies greatly.
- -General Knowledge of STATSGO data use and structure. For help on STATSGO data structure consult USDA STATSGO booklet.
