CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE STATE OPEN AT A TIME?

Yes, You can have as many states open as Arcview can maintain with your given amount of RAM and CPU speed.

CAN I HAVE OTHER COVERAGES IN THE STATSGO STATE VIEW?

Yes, You can add other coverages (or shapefiles) to the Statsgo State View as long as it does not use the same name.

CAN I HAVE OTHER EXTENSIONS LOADED AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes, As far as I know all other extensions will load and operate correctly.

DOES THIS EXTENSION ALLOW ME ACCESS TO STATSGO TABLES OTHER THAN THE ATTRIBUTES, COMP AND LAYER TABLES?

No, it does not, however if you have the CD you can add them manually.

IS OPERATION SLOWER WITH BIGGER STATES?

Not Always, operational time is dependent on how many layers, components and MUIDs are present not on the geographical size of a state. Although generally larger states have more MUIDs.

WHY DOES OPERATION TAKE LONGER WHEN USING SELECTION CRITERIA?

This is because of the extra queries that must be performed on the data. Each extra query slows down operation further. Adding two selection criterias usually slows down operation by 50% or greater because (especially if OR is used) the number of queries will jump from two to five.
